House in the contemporary style, located near Kyiv. The lightness and expressiveness of its details, the dynamics of volumes, embodied the idea of free flight in architectural solutions. The image of a bird (lat. Larus – seagull) appeared spontaneously. The first draft of the house’s layout, the V-pattern, resembles a swiftly flying seagull, whose two wings correspond to a clear functional zoning of the building. The “beak” of the bird faces the north – the entrance to the house and the “tail” in the form of a spacious terrace is turned towards the south. The south facade is literally open wide in the direction of the sun, while the north, from the side of the street, looks closed, like a modern fortress and forms a single composition with the fence of the site. A terrace with a tree growing on it, one of the wishes of the client, became the starting point for the development of the project. Area: 732 m2.
