In 1901, entrepreneur John Nolon began manufacturing Marshall mattresses in London, which later became known as Vispring. A physician by training, John Nolon was engaged in promoting the benefits of spring, more hygienic mattresses and achieved obvious success. In 1912, the company supplied mattresses for the Titanic, in 1915, the London hotels Park Lane and Savoy offered their guests to experience the luxury of the brand’s mattresses. The name Vispring is very simple: VI – Roman number “six” – the number of turns of each spring block, and a spring, the main material for mattresses.
